Sonam and Dhanush will make a fresh on screen pair. Sonam’s spokesperson also confirms it to a daily, “She has been offered this film opposite Dhanush.” However, Sonam is not very sure about doing the film as she is all committed to two Bollywood films. She will have to adjust her dates in order to accommodate the third one.
Directed by the Tanu weds Manu fame, Aanand L Rai, Raanjhana is a love story, set against the backdrop of Banaras. The film will revolve around Delhi, Punjab, Chennai, etc.
Why Dhanush??
Well, a very simple and ordinary looking character was needed for the role and Dhanush fits the bill perfectly. The actor is now learning Hindi for the film. He says that the language is not that big a problem as much as the culture is.
Well, lets wait and see if Sonams gives a nod to the film.
